Introduction to Indigenous Science and Braiding Knowledges

In this workshop, educators will explore Indigenous and Western science and will be introduced to the concept of braiding these knowledges together. Educators will learn some Anishinaabemowin and sample some of the workshops we offer to students. 


All TRACKS workshops combine Indigenous Science and Western Science within an environmental context. All workshops will relate to the natural world and encourage participants to think about their responsibilities to the land.

Participants: Ideal for classroom teachers, teacher candidates, and other educators
Length: 60-90 minutes - timing is flexible to align with your schedule!
Cost: $185 plus travel fee
