Aaniin, Taanishi, Hello!
My name is Rachel Gilham (she/her). I come from a background of Ukrainian and Metis ancestry and am currently living in Nogojiwanong.
After graduating from Trent University with a degree in biology and environmental science, I worked at Camp Kawartha as an environmental educator and at the Pathway Project as the summer program assistant. During my spare time, I’m either biking, hiking, or coaching the Trent Fencing Team.
I’ve seen first-hand that when students develop a strong relationship with the land and learn through different worldviews, they are able to develop more empathy and understanding for others. I’m looking forward to helping students achieve this by joining TRACKS as the School Programs Coordinator!
